Maple Manor House
Building houses and other "buildings" out of paper is very fulfilling to me. Maybe it's because I'm the daughter of a carpenter. There is something magical about a miniature structure. Whether it’s a snow-covered cottage or a neighborhood shop, these pieces are more than just boxes, they are tiny worlds. Each one is engineered with precision and heart to capture a moment in time, making them the ultimate vessel for a truly meaningful gift.
From haunted manors for Halloween to cozy, light-filled cottages for Christmas, these seasonal structures bring the warmth of the holidays into your home year-round.
All of my buildings can be sized to meet your needs. If creating your own Custom Paper Village is in your future, we can work together to determine the buildings you want as well as the size, color and pattern you want to accomplish the vibe of your paper community.
The Glow is Included: All structures are designed for LED/battery-operated lights only. To make your gifting even easier, the appropriate light will be included with your purchase.
Do you want to build a snowman...or perhaps a castle?
Decorating for the holidays doesn’t have to begin and end with gingerbread houses. Our winter collection spans the architectural spectrum from grand, sprawling castles to modest, cozy cottages.
Whether you’re decorating a small mantle or building an expansive holiday village, we have a structure designed to bring a warm glow into your home (or the home of a lucky giftee). You can be a champion shopper this season by exploring the variety below to find the piece that tells your holiday story.
Look for our Gingerbread Manor, the Mid-Century Modern Winter House, and the lit-from-within Holiday Shops.
Can’t find the perfect fit? If you don’t see the exact building you’re envisioning, let’s work together to create a custom structure that is "just right" for your space.
“Love the look but need a different size? Every building can be scaled up or down to fit your mantle, table, or shelf perfectly.”
They didn't believe it was paper.
In my old neighborhood, I used to set up a miniature Halloween village on my driveway every October 31st. While the kids were there for the candy, the parents were the ones who truly stopped in their tracks. They’d lean in, intrigued, asking a dozen questions usually ending in disbelief when I told them everything was handcrafted from paper.
A Season of Light: One of the best things about these structures is their longevity. While the spooky "fright" pieces are perfect for October, our autumnal buildings can be displayed as soon as the leaves turn and remain as a glowing centerpiece right until it’s time for the Christmas village to move in.
The Ultimate Vessel: Beyond being a decoration, many of these buildings serve as a unique gift box. Imagine the delight of receiving a gift tucked inside a glowing, handcrafted home that then becomes a permanent part of the recipient's holiday tradition.
Be a champion gift giver by using a glowing manor as your gift box this year.
The Magic of the Glow: As the nights get longer, these buildings come to life. Whether it’s a flickering orange light inside a jack-o-lantern or a soft white glow through a cottage window, the light transforms the paper into a story.
This is the picture from my driveway-Halloween Village pieces: Pumpkin Place, Bewitched Cabin, Grisly Place, Midnight Manor, Boo-tiful Blossom, Ghostly Guest House, Bewitched Jack-O-Lantern, Mother Bates House, Pumpkin Carriage, Bewitched Cabin, Heirloom Christmas Tree (Halloween), Victorian Row House (size reduced), Winnie Witch Treat Box
A change of color, a whole new story.
One of the most fascinating parts of paper engineering is how a single silhouette can be completely transformed. Take my Country Market, for example. It is perhaps my most versatile design, one that shifts its personality with every new paper choice. As you explore the different carousels on this page, I challenge you to spot the Country Market in each seasonal theme!
Romantic Retreats: This collection features the Loveland Cottage and Carriage, designed to capture the elegance of a fairytale romance.
The Love Hut Mailbox: This piece is a sophisticated nod to the magic of elementary school Valentine’s Days. It’s a grown-up version of the decorated boxes we once filled with cards now reimagined as a beautiful, glowing vessel for modern-day love notes or small treasures.
The Glow of Affection: Whether it’s a soft pink hue or a passionate red, the light through these Valentine’s structures creates an atmosphere of warmth and sweetness that lasts far beyond February 14th.
Unlike the houses in the previous categories, the following are not limited to a particular season or day. These are items you can gift any time.
Do you wanna build a birdhouse?
My interest in architectural miniatures began during the three years I lived in New York. I met an artisan there who crafted miniature birdhouses that were exact replicas of people's homes. It was a revelation. He taught me that when it comes to creativity, you don't have to follow the rules.
Today, I carry that "outside the box" spirit into every birdhouse I build. I don’t follow a script; I craft them out of whatever paper speaks to me in the moment. These aren't just for the birds—they are a celebration of color, texture, and a refusal to play it safe.
Explore whimsical designs that range from classic cottage styles to bold, avant-garde patterns that turn a "standard" birdhouse into a conversation piece.
A tribute to where it all began.
My journey into business structures started with a stroll through the Catlin Court Historic District in Glendale, Arizona. I was captivated by the mid-century homes. Each one is a unique local treasure. The standout for me was the local flower shop, Glendale Flowers and Gifts, with its stunning Arts and Crafts architecture.
That shop holds a special place in my heart; the owner (Hi Sue & Danae) gave me my start by inviting me to set up a Christmas pop-up on their front porch. To honor that beginning, I recreated her shop in paper. The success of that first piece gave me the spark to look for other "businesses" to bring to life.
Do you know someone who has poured their heart into their own small business? A custom paper representation is a powerful way to celebrate their hard work and legacy.
The Glow of the Neighborhood: I invite you to scroll through this carousel. Each building is a celebration of the unique shops that make a community feel like home.
A celebration of American architecture and the places we call home.
This collection is the culmination of my work beyond the holiday calendar: a tribute to the iconic styles that define our landscape from one ocean to the other. Since so many of us in Arizona have roots in other states, I wanted to create pieces that harken back to those "hometown" feelings.
The Conservatory: This structure captures the sun-drenched elegance found from the Florida coast to Southern California. (Patio Set May be different for each piece. Palm not included.)
Frostwood Manor: A versatile design that shifts its personality based on your story. It can be a grand, airy beach house or a humble, cozy cottage.
Victorian Row Houses: These "Painted Ladies" are unmistakably San Francisco, bringing the charm of the Bay Area directly to your mantle.
No matter the style or the state it represents, each of these buildings is designed to bring a warm, inviting glow into your home. They are the perfect vessel for a nostalgic gift or a centerpiece that celebrates your own journey.
